In 97% very sharp condition, we have a very early January 1943 production Remington Rand 1911a1 US Army Service Pistol. This is from the beginning of the third month of production and is one of the first few thousand produced by Remington Rand. It has many of the early production features, such as the very seldom seen first slide logo with New York spelled out and of course the very early DU-Lite finish. This is an exceptionally rare pistol in exceptionally rare condition…. 100% factory correct, and just lightly used.
