Description

This is a very rare opportunity to own of the one most obscure but significant FN High Power Pistols from the WW2 era.  In 97% very sharp original condition, we have an extremely rare (only 2300) 1937 Estonian Army Contract Pistol, property marked “K.L.” for the Estonian Home Guard known as the Kaitseliit. Not only do you get the pistol but you get the even scarcer Estonian Holster as well!  These pistols are in a special contract serial range of 5,338 pistols that were ordered for both the army, which were marked “E.V.” and the very small number of 2300 for the Home Guard.  This pistol is all matching with a mint bore.

As you might imagine only a handful of these pistols are known to exist.  There are probably less than 10 in North America.  In 1940 Estonia was overrun by the Soviet Union and just a year later was occupied by the German Army.  The route this pistol made to get here is open to speculation, it could have been captured by the Soviets, the Nazis, and The American who brought it back as a war trophy or any one these.  I think that this very much adds to the allure of this pistol and makes it even more desirable to those interested in WW2 history.
