In 98% mint crisp condition, we have an exceptional example of a late mid war production Sauer Modell 38H Pistol. This is a commercial variant and still has the slide safety but does have the simplified “cal. 7,65” on the slide instead of the full slide logo. This mint crisp example appears to be almost unfired. The Sauer 38H was considered for many years to be the apex of pocket pistol design. Perhaps now with all the much more powerful subcompact 9 m/m pistols on the market this has been eclipsed but it took 80 years to do it.
