SOLD , VERY RARE 1914 MAUSER PISTOL, MARKED TO THE CITY POLICE OF DANZIG, HISTORIC NAZI ERA POLICE PISTOL!

In a phosphate re-finished condition, we have a very rare and desirable Sipo Danzig marked Model 1914 Mauser Pistol.  As you are probably aware, Danzig was one of the flashpoints of WW2, it s where the German Invasion of Poland began in Sept, 1939 and the Polish population was ruthlessly exterminated by the Germans.  How anything that was used in Danzig during the Interwar period could have even gotten here to the states  is a bit of a mystery but here you have a rarely seen and very well marked example of Danzig City Police Pistol from this very brutal and turbulent era.
