SOLD RARE JAPANESE WW2 ARMY OFFICER USED DWM MODEL 1922 PISTOL & JAPANESE MILITARY HOLSTER, MINT CRISP!

This is a very rare and scarce Japanese WW2 Army officer carried DWM Model 1922 Pistol with a mint Japanese Military Holster.    These pistols were made by DWM in 1922/23 and were a more ergonomic version of the FN Model 1910.  Few were ever made due to legal issues with FN as it was a nearly a copy and no licensing fee was paid by DWM to FN for production.  Most of these pistols ended up being sold on the Japanese Market to Army Officers where they were quite popular as they were an improvement on the FN 1910 which they were so fond of.  Today, they are rarely encountered and most often in a Japanese WW2 context.  There was a 1922 version with wooden grips and a more common 1923 variation with plastic grips but very few were ever made and they are rarely encountered.  We have had less than 5 in nearly 30 years so this is a real find!.
