In MINT CRISP STUNNING 98-99% condition we have an extremely desirable 1940 dated 42 Code Mauser Made P.08 Luger Pistol that has the very rare red Krieghoff coarse checkered grips.  These grips appear on an estimated 1% of the 1940 Mauser Luger Production.  They were obtained by Mauser from the Krieghoff Factory at the end of their regular production which wrapped up in 1940.  This pistol is totally matching including the mag and the bore is mint as well.

These red gripped 1940 Mauser Lugers are very well known and highly sought after by collectors for the very distinctive look. This would be a great addition to anyone’s Luger or WW2 collection.  This is an exceptionally fine example made even more  desirable by still having a matching magazine.  This is a pistol for the advanced Luger Connoisseur.
