In 96%+ condition, we have a quite rare 1941 Romanian Army contract Beretta Model 1934 Pistol in .380 auto. This is all matching and the bore is excellent. This is a fantastic veteran bring back rig from Italy, the pistol itself was almost certainly Italian army carried as it is in an Italian Army holster, and it came back with a rare fascist MSVN “black shirt” overseas cap & An Italian army medal commemorating the 11th divisions service during the Greek invasion in 1941. You see this exactly as it was brought back and it’s quite an interesting grouping as we rarely see fascist Italian militaria.
The pistol is all matching with an excellent bore and comes with the standard Italian Army issue holster and spare magazine. It is my opinion that this pistol probably never saw service with the Romanian army, but was instead sent to the Italian army. This is certainly a wonderful example of what was carried in the Mediterranean theater of war. Such an interesting Beretta will not hang around for long!
