SOLD TUE APR 22, MAGNIFICENT, STEYR MODEL 1909 6.35mm(.25 auto) PISTOL, LIKE NEW IN THE ORIGINAL FACTORY DISPLAY CASE, 1910 PRODUCTION, ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!

This is something that we have never encountered before, an ULTRA RARE 1910 production, Steyr Model 1909 vest pocket type Pistol in 6.35mm that is still in the original Steyr Factory Display case in nearly new condition with original Factory installed mother of pearl Grips.  The pistol is in nearly new condition, with nearly all the bright fire blue finish intact on the small parts.  The maroon leatherette case in in extremely fine condition as well.  There is a place in the case for a box of ammunition and this is even still intact with one round missing.  

This is an extremely deluxe set-up that would have been marketed to high society in Vienna, it could have been purchased for a high ranking member of the Hapsburgs, or some other wealthy individual.  Certainly, it was a premier grade example well put up to appeal to those of high taste.  If you have watched the PBS series Vienna Blood you will know the zeitgeist i am referring to.   This is a stunning piece and one not to be passed up.
