Description

In 98% mint crisp STUNNING condition, we have a rare, early 1944 production Walther Commerical Mod P38 Pistol.  This is all matching and with a mint bore.  This is an early 1944 production example with the an extreme reddish cast to the frame which is quite attractive and striking.  The Mod P38 was the commercial  production version of the P.38 and were mostly assembled out of rejected Army parts.  They are well made and nicely finished and are quite rare and seldom seen. Certainly one of the most sought after P.38 variants by collectors. One of the earliest examples we have seen and a scarce variation, with only 1,800 manufactured.
