In antique fine condition we have an Extremely Early Antique first year 1892 production (serial #548) Tokyo Artillery Arsenal manufactured Type 26 Japanese Army Service Revolver that is REMARKABLY, ALL MATCHING AND NEVER REBUILT OR REWORKED!!! All in all this is a very unusual and highly desirable example.
This revolver would have seen service in every Japanese Armed conflict from the 1st Sino-Japanese War of 1894, through to the end of the second world war in 1945. These revolvers saw hard use and MOST were rebuilt and overhauled numerous times, THIS ONE NEVER!. AND IT’S STILL TIGHT AS A TICK! These revolvers are well known for the easy access and exposure of the lock work and a very loosey goosey cylinder. If you collect the WWII era Japanese small arms this is a must have item and certainly one of the more interesting examples you will come across. This is a Pre98 Antique and does not require the use of an FFL or C&R license for purchase.
