Description

In 97% very sharp condition, we have a scarce late 1943 production variant,” Straight Line” Walther ac 43 coded P.38 in the “m” block, fully rigged out with a nice jln44 coded softshell holster & spare magazine.  The pistol is all matching with a mint bore as well.  This variant is called straight line because the code markings are found on the back part of the slide exactly as you see on all 1944 production Walther P.38’s.  This changeover began at the end of 1943 and they can be found in the L,M,& N production blocks, so 1943 pistols marked this way are somewhat rare and this is one of those must haves for P.38 collectors.

This is a vet brought back example, it came back exactly as you see it from European Battlefields.  Just a prime example of one of the more desirable P.38 variants
