Description

In VERY SHARP original condition, we have a very rare Saginaw S’ prime G’ prime M1 Carbine. This carbine was manufactured in September 1943.   These carbines were made out of parts from the Irwin Pederson contract and this gun does have IP parts, for instance the safety.

There are no and never were any actual completed Irwin Pederson produced and inspected carbines. The contract was cancelled before carbines were completed and the whole lot of parts were shipped to the Saginaw Plant at Grand Rapids Michigan where they were assembled using a mix of the Pederson made parts and parts from Saginaw and other contractors.  This is a rare carbine maker that is seldom seen, plus you get a minty WWII sling as well!
