In 95% condition, all matching and original with a mint bore, we have a fairly important and EXTREMELY SCARCE Webley & Scott Model 1909 Automatic pistol in 9mm Browning Long Caliber. This is an intermediate sized pistol compared to the Larger .455 Automatic and the smaller .32 auto variants. Due to the onset of WWI, only around 1650 were produced, THIS PISTOL IS WITH A MILNER LETTER INDICATING IT WAS SHIPPED TO LIEGE 2 MONTHS BEFORE THE OUTBREAK OF WWI, ALMOST CERTAINLY A PRIVATE PURCHASE FOR A BELGIAN ARMY OFFICER.
