Description

In 98% mint crisp condition we have a very rare and semi-famous Lignose Model 3a “Einhand” (Onehand) Pistol.  This is a 10 shot pistol in .25 auto.  This pistol can be charged by simply depressing the front of the trigger guard with your finger, thus racking the slide and charging the pistol.  These pistols are extremely well made and finished.

The Einhand was marketed to the large number of one armed veterans from the First World War who would otherwise find it difficult to use a semi-automatic pistol as you really need to hands to manipulate the slide to charge the pistol.  With the Einhand you only needed one hand to get it running. Its very easy to manipulate and fire this way.  This is one of those nifty designs that has captured the imaginations of collectors for years and why they are so popular with collectors.

If you watched the Netflix Series Babylon Berlin you may recall that one of these pistols played a very prominent role in the first episode as it was used against the protagonist by a one armed crook.
