SOLD US WWII, COLT 1903 PISTOL, “US PROPERTY” MINT NEAR NEW, DEC 1944, SOE ISSUED BRITISH PROOFED, MINT CRISP!

In mint new probably un-fired condition, with very little storage wear, we have an exceptional example of a US Property marked Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerless .32 auto.  This pistol was shipped directly to Europe on December 4, 1944.  As this was a British proofed pistol it was likely earmarked for the SOE, the Special Operations Executive, which was the British Clandestine Service that undertook operations in Nazi occupied Europe.   This is the parkerized version with the ordnance crossed cannon cartouche and is complete with the Colt Factory Letter. These pistols are very scarce and highly sought after as they were used by Spies, Saboteurs, Resistance & Underground members and anyone else who loved to kill Nazis.
