REMINGTON RAND WAS THE MOST EFFICIENT PRODUCER OF THESE PISTOLS DURING WWII. NOT ONLY DID THEY MANUFACTURE THE LARGEST NUMBER OF PISTOLS THEY ALSO PRODUCED THE HIGHEST QUALITY PISTOLS AS WELL. THIS IS A WONDERFUL EXAMPLE OF ONE OF THE MOST LEGENDARY GUNS OF WWII. IF YOU WANT A REALLY NICE LOOKING 76-YEAR-OLD US WWII SERVICE PISTOL HERE IT IS; IT REALLY POPS!
Scotty’s Collector Insights…If you are looking for a nice WWII G.I. .45 AUTO, this is a real corker! It was obtained from the nephew of the vet and he sent along a copy of a picture of his navy ensign great uncle riding a camel in the Middle East practically like Lawrence of Arabia. Navy attributed service pistols are not often seen and this really adds a layer of allure to the pistol. This is Also very attractively priced for the summer. You are probably saving $2-400 off buying it during peak collecting season.
