SOLD VERY SCARCE 41-42 CODE P.08 LUGER PISTOL, VERY RARE VARIANT ONLY 7000 MADE, MATCHING MAG! VERY SHARP!

In 97% very sharp condition, we have a very fine example of the rare and elusive Mauser 41-42 Code P.08 Luger Pistol.  Only 7,000 of this variant were produced and they represent the earliest production months of 1941 before the Heereswaffenamt ordered Mauser to institute a production code change from “42” to the new code which was “byf“.   The vast majority of 1941 production Lugers were marked “byf41” so its a real find to get a “41-42” coded variant.  This is all matching including the magazine and is a textbook example.  As you can well imagine very few of these pistols have survived the war let alone this nice.  A real find for any collector.
