Description

In 97% very sharp condition, we have a top example of a 1928 dated Czech Army Issued Cz24 Pistol in .380 caliber (9mm Kurz).  This is all matching with a mint bore and comes with a nice immediate post war European made Shoulder holster with some floral decoration which is not at all commonly seen on these holsters.  The Cz24 was one in a series of Czech made Pistols based upon the designs of Josef Nickl after he left Mauser.  They are very well made and sturdy pistols and served as the sidearm of the Czech Army until the German Invasion.  They were widely issued to German Forces, especially the Waffen SS.

This was the treasured War Trophy of T/4 Cecil Web of the 15th Infantry Anti-Tank Company of the US Army 3rd Division.  There is a good amount of documentation that goes along with the pistol and really adds context and history to this artifact.  Cecil has gone on to the great big Bivouac in the Sky and it up to you to preserve this war trophy and keep good care of it.
