In 98% mint crisp condition, we have a US WWII issued Ithaca Model 1911a1 US Army Service Pistol.  According to the Ithaca Factory shipping records, in January of 1944, This pistol was shipped from the Ithaca’s New York Factory to to the US Army Ordnance Depot in San Antonio, Texas for Army Air Corps squadrons staging out of there for Europe.  Documented Army Air Corps Pistols are rare and highly sought after so this is a pretty big deal.  

This pistol is 100% original and textbook correct and was assembled in Late 1943 and is 100% factory original.   This is a great example of a pistol that flew over Europe in 1944-45.
