Description

In mint stunning condition, we have a fantastic example of a Springfield Armory June, 1923 production 1903 Springfield Match Service Rifle.  This is with the star gauged barrel the Mauser type cocking piece and a checkered buttplate.  The stock is absolutely a wonder to behold with very crisp clear cartouches.

Rifles such as this would have been used in peacetime marksmanship contests and training and could also have seen action in WWII.  This is an exceptional example of a scarce immediate post war rifle and would be the pride of any US Military Long Arm collection.
