TUE OCT 3, OUTSTANDING, MINT NEW UNFIRED, STILL IN THE COSMOLINE, US WWI COLT M-1917 REVOLVER, 45 acp, UNHEARD OF CONDITION!

In 99% mint new unfired condition, still with the cylinder and insides stuffed with cosmoline,  we have a Colt Model 1917 US Service Revolver in .45acp.  This is 100% factory original, all matching with a mint bore.  This revolver was manufactured in November of 1918.

The M-1917 revolver was widely issued in both World Wars and was used by other federal agencies such as the Post office and the Treasury department for many years.  This is a US Army WWI classic and there should be at least one of these in every US martial handgun collection.  Finding one this un-touched is an absolute 5 star anomaly!
