In very sharp all matching condition, we have a Scarce Luftwwaffe Eagle/L marked 1941 dated ar 41 code (Mauser Borsigwalde) made K98k Mauser Service Rifle. The rifle is all matching with a mint bore. The cartouches on the side of the laminated stock very sharp and clear. You will observe the very high polish almost commercial finish to the metal even this late in 1941. Mauser Borsigwalde was known for this finish and this example shows it perfectly. The date/code combination of this rifle is a very difficult one to locate and any serious collector of 98k’s knows what a real find this rifle is. This is very much an example of one of those rare sought after codes that is irresistible to own.
