SOLD US WW2 US NAVY MARKED SMITH & WESSON VICTORY MODEL REVOLVER, 38 SPECIAL, VERY SHARP!

In 95% very sharp condition, all matching Including the grips, (which you rarely see matching on these) we have an early 1942 production US NAVY marked Smith & Wesson Victory model revolver in .38 special with the standard 4 inch barrel.   This was the standard side arm of the US Navy in WW2 as most of the 1911a1 went to the Army and Marines.  This is the classic US Naval Aviation side arm of WW2 and it was the most widely issued handgun of the US Navy during that war.  Bush 42 carried one and so did JFK on the PT109.  For that reason alone these are very popular with all firearms collectors.  This is a must have piece for any serious US WW2 collection.
