SOLD ULTRA RARE WALTHER ac (40) ADDED P.38 PISTOL…….VERY NICE!

In 96% condition, we have an extremely rare and never seen Walther ac (40) Added P.38 Pistol.  This is all matching except for the mag which is the correct type.  The bore is excellent.  There were approximately 5,700 of this variant produced but they are rare and seldom ever seen and never this sharp.  The primary reasons for this is that most were burned up by the war, and the Walther commercial grade finish was not durable. Most of the survivors have little finish left.  These highly sought after pistols started out as ac No Date variants then during the production process a decision was made to add the date 1940 (40) which was hand stamped on the slide. This is easily in the top 5 most desirable P.38 variants for collectors to obtain and they just never show up for sale.  This is a real find and belongs in a serious P.38 collection.  We are very proud to offer it to you.
