Description

In excellent condition, this is an all matching non-import marked US surcharged Westinghouse Made M1891 Mosin Nagant Imperial Russian Service rifle. This rifle is part of the defaulted Russian contract that was purchased by the US government,  These rifles were used by the US Army for training but were also issued to US troops during the Siberian Expedition in 1919.  This rifle seems to have seen service in Europe but I’m not exactly sure how it got back here. While we do see the Remington made rifles fairly often these Westinghouse made rifles are much scarcer.  one of the more unusual rifles fielded by the US in WW1.
