Description

In 99% mint crisp un-issued condition, we have a nearly new example of a very late war, April, 1945 production Colt 1911a1 US Army Service Pistol.  Collectors will find this of significant interest as it is a prime example of Late war Colt production with the “C in a Square” marking on the barrel along with the P proof, which was used on the late war production.  You may also notice the very rough finish on the side of the frame and some roughness in the other small parts.  While functionality was still flawless, the cosmetic appearance suffered in the last year of wartime production.  This is example appears un-issued and I am not even certain it was ever fired, basically it is a new condition  71 year old WW2 US Government issued Pistol.
