SOLD US WW2 COLT 1911A1 US ARMY PISTOL….. OCT, 1942 PRODUCTION….WB CARTOUCHED… MATCHING SLIDE…..VIETNAM ISSUED

In excellent condition, we have a Post WW2 overhauled Colt 1911a1 U.S. Army Service Pistol.  This is a WB cartouched pistol with the original matching slide that was built in October of 1942.  The Pistol was reparked the barrel replaced with a Colt Military replacement barrel and the grips were replaced as well.  Very typical of what you might be lucky to get during the Vietnam War.  The pistol is a great shooter and collector.  Many of you if not all have heard about all the 1911’s that have been released from Government stores and are being sold by the CMP.  They are all roachy worn out turds that wished they could be this pistol.  This is a hell of nice pistol for the price!
