In excellent condition, we have a top example of a Sept, 1944 production Inland M1A1 paratrooper carbine. This is a great example from the second contract run which are usually encountered with the low wood and very often with the adjustable rear sight. This is an original condition example and was not a rework or rebuild. The 7/8th inch crossed cannon ordnance cartouche is visible on the bottom of the right side of the pistol grip. This also comes with the original WW2 sling as well. While this gun may never have made it to Normandy in June of 1944 it certainly could have participated in the later campaigns such as Market Garden. The M1A1 is a very popular and highly sought after piece of equipage. This is a top example and more importantly a genuine example.
