In 85-90% condition, we have an extremely rare and seldom seen Soviet Tula Arsenal 1934 TT-30 Service Pistol. This pistol is all matching except for the magazine. The bore is decent but not mint. TT-30 Pistols are very scarce, they were only made for a few very low production years until they were upgraded with the improved TT-33 Model. Almost all the non-import, non safety added Russian Tokarev pistols here came back from WW2 likely German captured and re-issued. A few more probably came back from the Korean War as well. This is a real find for the serious Russian Front collector.
This pistol just came in from the woodwork from the Mountains of Tennesee where it was hanging on the wall of the Vet who brought it back from WW2 for the past 50 years or so. According to family lore that was passed down this was taken from somewhere in Germany at the end of war. Like this example, almost all of the Russian Tokarev pistols came back from WW2 although some did return from Korea. Most of them brought back from Vietnam were Chinese made. This is certainly one of the most difficult to locate pistols of the WW2 era.
