SOLD WALTHER HP HEERES PISTOL P.38…LATE WAR PRODUCTION…….VERY SCARCE

In 96% very sharp condition, we have a very late production Walther model HP (Heeres Pistole) Pistol.  This is all matching and with a mint bore.  This is a 1944 production example with the an extreme reddish cast to the slide and frame finish that you see on some Walther production of this time frame, in fact this is the reddest looking example we have come across.  .  The Heeres Pistol was the commercial high grade production version of the P.38 and they are well made and nicely finished.  They are quite rare and seldom seen.  Where as the Mod P.38 was mostly made of rejected parts the Mod HP was always made to a higher standard.
