SOLD BRITISH / INDIAN 1944 No1 MkIII* LEE ENFIELD RIFLE, ALL MATCHING MINT AND BEAUTIFUL! NON IMPORT!

Here we find a gun that is extremely rare to find in this pristine condition.  In mint crisp all matching non-import marked condition, we have a 1944 dated  Indian Ishapore Arsenal manufactured No1 MkIII∗ Lee Enfield Service Rifle.  This rifle is British export marked so it likely saw service in the China-Burma India Theater of operations during the war, although it looks un-issued.  This was the standard weapon of the Indian Army and many were issued to the other Commonwealth forces as well.  Most Indian Enfields we have observed were very well used and worn and suffered in the South Asian head and humidity.  Clearly this rifle has led a charmed life….Please give it a good home in your collection.
