Description

In 90% well used condition and likely a WWII war trophy bringback, we have a very scarce early production German Contract FN 1900 Pistol that was property marked to the Royal Police of Munich Kgl. Polizei-Direktion München (Munich).  These pistols were part of a German contract purchased from FN and the safety and fire marking are in German, which is a quite scarce variation.  If you couple that with the very rare and highly desirable German Police markings you have a very hard to resist FN 1900 Pistol.

From the early 1900’s until about 1907/8 the FN 1900 was widely issued to Police organization in the German Reich as it was the most modern pistol of its time.  IN 1907 the German firearm industry’s  answer to the FN the Model 1907 Dreyse went into production and it became the pocket pistol of choice in central Europe.  The FN 1900 Pistols were supplanted by the Dreyse on new orders but the FN pistols stayed in service until the end of WWII in 1945.  Getting a Police marked FN 1900 is quite a prize for collectors.
