In 98% MINT CRISP condition completely matching including BOTH factory original matching numbered magazines, we have a top example of an early high polish finish very early 1941 production no letter block Walther ac41 oded P.38 Pistol. AMAZINGLY, THIS RIG IS STILL WITH THE ORIGINAL WWII CAPTURE PAPERS!!! It was brought back by a 1st LT in the Field Artillery. This is what collectors call the First Variation, it is nearly identical to late ac40 production. it is fully rigged out with a rare maker cny41(C. Pose, Berlin) hardshell holster it was brought back in.
The high polish commercial grade finish was very fragile and did not stand up well to the rigors of war so finding one this nice is a real achievement. This pistol is all matching with an excellent bore. These early matching mag pistols do not last long so if you want it do not waste any time. Absolutely a beautiful and extremely desirable early war P.38 Pistol.
While you might find a rarer P.38 finding one this rare with capture papers is a stunning achievement and a must have for any aspiring collector.
