In 97% mint sharp condition, we have one of the most sought after of the German WWII era military pistols, the 1940 production high grade commercial finish Walther PPK Pistol with the early Eagle/359 Waffenamt acceptance proofs. These pistols probably went to the Luftwaffe to arm aircrew. This may well have been in the Battle of Britain. Only 3,500 of this variant were ever made and they are extremely scarce and seldom seen. As you might well imagine, with a low wartime survival rate only a select few serious collectors will ever have the chance to own one of these historically significant pistols.
