In 97+% condition, we have a very early 1938 production Beretta Model 418 Pistol in 6.35mm also known as .25 auto still with the rare Italian Military Holster. Pistols such as this would have been carried by High-ranking Italian Army officers during WWII, in fact it is know that these pistols were very popular with not only the Italian Officer Corps but also German Officers as well and there are examples that are Nazi 4UT proofmarked as well. These pistols were also carried by the Italian Police and other Fascist groups.
While today, we commonly deride and make snide remarks about Italy’s role in WWII, The Italian Army was an effective fighting force with a very proud officer corps. Finding an early WWII era Beretta model 418 in this fine condition is extremely challenging, they saw a lot of use and are rarely even seen let alone this nice & with the holster too!
