Description
In excellent mint condition, we have a stunning example of a Quality Hardware M1 Carbine from the 2nd Production Block, built in July of 1943. This is a fine example of a typical mid war production example from one of the smaller contractors.
Quality Hardware was one of the scarcest producers and they were located just down the road from Rock-Ola, who provided them with stocks and barrels and a lot of QC advice. This example has a beautiful Rock-Ola stock and a Rock-Ola barrel which confirms along with the serial number that production occurred in late June or early July of 1943 as Rock-Ola stopped dating barrels in June. Getting a carbine this rare and this nice is a huge deal to any serious carbine collector.
