This fine revolver was built in 1896; so it qualifies as an antique and can be shipped directly to you. In antique very fine/excellent condition we have an 1896 production, British officer Army & Navy Store retailed .455 Webley caliber “WG” Army Model Service Revolver. This is all matching with an excellent bore and like new lock up, tight as a tick. Please note this is still in the original .455 Webley chambering.
The Webley “WG” (Webley Government) Army Model Service Revolver was extremely popular with all British Serving Officers who had to at their expense furnish their complete kit including side arms. This was sold by the British Officer exclusive Army & Navy Store in London. It’s highly likely that this revolver saw service in the Boer War and in WWI. During WWI, this big gun would have been your best friend in the muddy trenches of the Western Front.
