Description

This is an extremely rare end of war P.38 variant, and they are described on page 108 of Krutzek’s P.38 book. This is know as the “ac” frame variant, they were made at depots in 1944/45 to help meet the demand for pistols in the late stages of the war.  They are not serial numbered, usually have Mauser slides and have frames that are “ac” marked the barrel is Mauser  e/waA135  proofed.  There are ONLY 25 surviving examples known.  This pistol is in 97%+ mint crisp condition with a mint bore.

This is one of the rarest of the late end of war variants and a seldom seen opportunity to obtain an mint example.
