Description

In 95% very sharp all matching condition we have a Japanese Army Type 26 Service Revolver with a very nice holster.  What is most remarkable about this example is that is has never been reworked and is still matching which is almost unheard of in these long serving well used revolvers  Coming into service in 1892 the Type 26 was the standard Japanese Service Sidearm well into the late 1920’s when significant numbers of Type 14 pistols came into service.  The Type 26 was still in widespread use at the outbreak of WW2 and were commonly encountered in front line service throughout the war and many were brought back as war trophies.
