SUN AUG 14, PRE98 WEEKLY NEWS UPDATE #138

News from the Office: We were pretty tied up last week tracking down some new inventory and we did have some success in that endeavor, so we have some very rare things, some very obscure things and some very common but un-commonly nice things to offer you this week.  As they say, variety is the spice of collecting.  

There are a couple of notable books that will be out soon, a book on Chinese Warlord Era pistols and a major expansion of Anthony Vanderlinden’s FN Pistol book.  Please keep in mind that we expect there to be increased collector pressure on both Asiatic and FN handguns that should be starting anytime, especially we think for High Powers, Broomhandles & Nambus.  This would be a good time to start prioritizing your collecting targets for the coming fall season.  This summer has not been as subdued as we were expecting which leads me to believe that the fall season will be very dynamic.
