Description

In 95% very sharp condition, we have a somewhat unusual 1914 production Austrian Frommer Stop Pistol.  This pistol bears no proof marks but is marked on the back strap K.B. 645, which is the designator for the Berlin Criminal Police, and to further buttress this Berlin Police identification the holster is an early Nazi Era Police Eagle/B marked Otto Sindel Holster.   Both mags are correctly marked as well.  The bore is excellent, and the gun is matching.

This pistol is mentioned by serial number in Jan Stills book Central Powers Pistols on page 225 as part of a small group of un-proofed pistols that bare German or Austrian Police unit markings, so this is  known gun that has been in collections for some time.
