SUN SEPT 18, PRE98 WEEKLY NEWS UPDATE #143

News from the Office: We attended the MAX show in York PA this past Friday and I have to say is that from a gun collecting view it was a huge flop.  There were just no nice guns to be found at the show.  No decent holsters, no nice guns of any type, just a bunch of very sketchy crap.  It was a large show that was packed with mostly mediocre, hack grade militaria.  There were no large crowds, not even any small crowds.  Brett and I scoured it and all we brought back were 2 very nice pieces.  All that I can say was it was extremely disappointing and a complete bust. Brett said we would not return he was so crushed.  

It is not a complete Suprise it was so lacking in guns.  These militaria guys often find guns in their travels and will bring them to a show like this to get them sold.  The problem is that there are just not a lot of loose guns out there in the wild to stumble across anymore.  The MAX show has always ran hot or cold on guns and this time it was just not bringing it.  

We do have some neat stuff to deploy this week so stay tuned to the new arrivals.
