IN 97% ORIGINAL MINT CONDITION, WE HAVE A VERY HARD TO FIND EARLY CZECH ARMY Cz22 PISTOL IN .380 CALIBER. THE PISTOL IS DATED 1923 AND IT WAS ISSUED TO AN INFANTRY UNIT OF THE CZECH ARMY.
THE Cz22 PISTOL WAS THE FIRST OF THE CZECH GUNS DESIGNED BY JOSEF NICKL, WHO DESIGNED IT FOR MAUSER AS A REPLACEMENT FOR THE MODEL 1914 SERIES. THE DESIGN WAS NOT PRODUCED AT MAUSER BUT FOUND A HOME AT BRNO. IT WAS NOT IN PRODUCTION LONG BEFORE THE IMPROVED Cz24 WAS INTRODUCED MAKING IT A VERY SCARCE PISTOL. CZECH PISTOLS ARE BEING WIDELY COLLECTED THESE DAYS AND THIS IS A GREAT EXAMPLE OF ONE THE HARD TO FIND KEY PIECES. WE ONLY GET ONE OF THESE PISTOLS IN EVERY COUPLE OF YEARS SO IF YOU NEED ONE YOU NEED TO CONSIDER THE RARITY OF THE PISTOL.
