In. STUNNING AND SPECTACULAR MINT NEW CONDITION , completely matching down to the screws and un-messed with, we have a top example of a 1939 dated 42 code  (Mauser Oberndorf)made K98k German Service Rifle.  This rifle is completely factory original and is all matching down to the screws and comes with a muzzle cover and a dated and coded sling.  The bore is mint and the stock cartouches are all exceptionally clear.  The cartouche on the top of the hand guard is still visible as well and you rarely see that.  This is a top example of a Mauser made early wartime production K98k with all the early features such as no sight hood and the flat butt plate and milled bands.

This is the poster child of an early confirmation K98k Rifle.  Early dated 98k rifles in this pristine condition are rarer than double matched mag Luger Rigs. This rifle was assembled just a few months prior to the outbreak of WWII in Europe.  THIS RIFLE IS ABSOLUTELY NOT UPGRADABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES; ITS ABSOLUTELY THE FINEST MOST PRISTINE EXAMPLE KNOWN TO,EXIST IN NORTH AMERICA.
