Description

In 95% very nice been through WWI condition, we have an Extremely Rare Imperial German Army issued Model 1912 Frommer Stop Pistol in 7.65m/m. This is Crown/D proofed.  It’s all matching and the bore is excellent as well. Almost all Frommer Stop’s were issued to the Austrian-Hungarian Army, some were commercially proofed, but German Army proofed examples are extremely scarce and rarely seen.

The Frommer Stop pistols are highly sought after by collectors of this era, but they are difficult to locate in any decent condition.  This was a very well made but overly complicated pistol and was used not only by the Hungarians but also the German Army as well.  If you collect WWI weapons this is certainly one of the more important pocket pistols of the era.  GERMAN ARMY ISSUED FROMMERS ARE JUST IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE.
