Description

In 97% condition, we have a Danish Military Issue M1910/21 Bergmann-Bayard Pistol, still with the nearly impossible to source holster & a spare mag & cleaning rod.  I cannot overstate how impossible it is to find this holster.  This holster is in top condition and well marked. If you were fortunate enough to stumble across just this holster, you would easily pay $800-$1000, to own it.  The pistol is all matching with a mint bore.  Neither mag matches, they never do on these pistols.
The M1908-10 series of Bergmann-Bayard Pistols were the sidearm of the Danish armed forces from 1908-1946 and it was a well-made and powerful weapon at the time with the powerful 9mm Bayard or Largo loading.

When the Nazis rolled into Denmark in April, 1940 most of these sidearms were surrendered to the German forces and were then reissued to occupying forces especially the Luftwaffe who issued these pistols to nco’s.  Any serious collection of WWIi era handguns cannot be complete without this Danish pistol and this is a much nicer and more complete example than you will often see.
