In 98% mint crisp condition, we have a very hard to locate vet brought back Nazi Occupation FN/ Browning High Power “a” block pistol. This is one of the fixed sight variation, and would have been manufactured in mid 1943. This pistol is all matching with a mint bore as well. It is fully rigged out with a nice cgn43 (Rohrbacker leadercraft) and a spare Nazi wartime magazine.
These Nazi occupation Pistols were issued extensively to the Waffen SS as they could not source guns directly from the Regular Army. There are many photographs of its use in action by these forces, especially on the Russian Front. Among the fighting men of many nations, it was considered to be the most prized handgun of the European Theater as it had a 13-shot magazine and ran like a Swiss watch, which is to say it did not jam.
This is certainly a top example of one of the most famous combat pistols of not only WWII, but the last century. Finding a WaA140 A-letter block fixed sight Nazi High Power in such high condition is almost unheard of today.
