Description

In 98% mint crisp condition, we have a rare, early 1944 production Walther Commercial Mod P38 Pistol.  This is all matching and with a mint bore.  This is an early 1944 production example with no defects in the frame or the finish as you often see in the 1944 production.

The Mod P38 was the commercial production version of the P.38 and were mostly assembled out of rejected Army parts.  They are well made and nicely finished and are quite rare and seldom seen. Certainly one of the most sought after P.38 variants by collectors, a scarce variation, with only 1,800 manufactured, making it a true prize to serious P.38 collectors.
