News from the office: The Paris Olympics ends today and it was great to see how well we did in the medal count. From our perspective we have had a long intertwined military history with the French, from the founding of our nation through 2 world wars and even Vietnam. We don’t sell as many a French small arms as we do from the “big 3 but they do have a significant following which has increased of late. I will bring your attention to the 1892 “Lebel” revolver, they have seen a great deal of interest and are steady sellers. The availability of ammunition and the swing out cylinder for ease of loading greatly adds to their allure. They are extremely rugged and played a significant roll in WWI and in WWII especially with the Resistance.
Things are gearing up for fall here in the office. We had a lot of consignments locked up last week that will soon arrive, including some rifles and Japanese Swords and more pistols as well. We are looking forward to attending the Max Show as well in mid-September.
Please make an appointment if you are stopping by the office. We are more than happy to pull something for you to look at if you have an interest; we just need to know in advance and don’t mind a visit.
