In 96-97% very sharp condition, we have an extremely rare, almost never seen, Italian Army issued Beretta Model 1923 pistol in 9mm Glisenti Caliber that is one of the less than 100 that were slotted for use with a shoulder stock and purchased by the Italian Army.  These pistols were purchased by the Italian Army in 1936 according to Ugo Menchini, and just a small number perhaps a hundred were slotted for use with a shoulder stock/holster, making this the rarest of the WWII era Beretta Pistols used by the Italian Army.  The pistol is all matching with an excellent bore.
Comes with a new box of 9mm Glisenti ammo made by Steinel.  Ammo has never been available for these pistols until now.  You can order it from Steinel and it’s reasonably priced too. Â
If you collect Beretta Pistols or Italian Military arms this is a real find!  It’s the only one that we have been able to obtain in over 40 years in the trade. Absolutely the rarest piece that we were able to find in Tulsa last year.
Scotty’s Collector Insights…This is one of the rarest If not the rarest Italian Military Beretta Pistols.  The caliber 9mm Glisenti was off-putting to many collectors because there was no ammo available in this caliber.  That has now changed with Steinel now producing ammunition.  The gun will probably never be shot but with a box of ammo you know that it can be. Â
